What if a centuries-old tongue twister became a modern entrepreneurial success story?
For Squarespace’s 2022 Super Bowl campaign, we reimagined “Sally Sold Seashells by the Seashore” as a beautifully shot short film starring Zendaya as Sally, with narration by the legendary André 3000. The spot brought new life to a classic rhyme, turning Sally into a savvy business owner who transforms her seaside hustle into a thriving online brand using Squarespace.
Sally’s Seashells launched our new brand platform, Everything to Sell Anything, and was designed to stand out on Super Bowl Sunday through a blend of pop culture, storytelling, and thoughtful design. The campaign extended beyond the broadcast with wild postings, digital out-of-home, and a cohesive visual system that brought Sally’s world into focus across every touchpoint.
The result was a culturally resonant campaign that helped redefine a familiar story while reinforcing Squarespace’s role in helping anyone sell anything online.
