A Website Makes it Real
A Website Makes it Real was a citywide digital out-of-home campaign that brought the Squarespace brand into the physical fabric of New York through bold, striking visuals.
Designed to stop people in their tracks, the work turns everyday surfaces into moments of creation. What usually lives behind a screen becomes something you can see unfold in real time, with ideas and websites taking shape, evolving, and resolving across a series of animated billboards.
We approached the campaign as a cohesive visual system. A set of motion behaviors and compositional rules define how each execution comes to life, allowing it to scale seamlessly across formats, environments, and screen types while maintaining a clear and recognizable point of view.
In collaboration with Future Deluxe, we developed a 3D motion language that adds depth and tactility, elevating the work beyond traditional digital out-of-home and reinforcing its presence in the city.
The campaign ran across subways, Penn Station, the Oculus, and LinkNYC kiosks, embedding itself into the rhythm of New York and creating a unified, high-impact presence across a fragmented media landscape.
