What happens when one of the most famous living artists decides it’s time to put all his work in one place?
As part of our Collection partnership, where we collaborate with leading voices across art, design, music, food and beyond. For our latest Collection project in 2024, Squarespace teamed up with Jeff Koons to create an online gallery showcasing more than four decades of his iconic work. Built entirely on the Squarespace platform, the site brings together every major piece in a single, beautifully designed destination.
To celebrate the launch, we created two original films: Inflate, a 3D-animated short inspired by the emotional themes in Koons’s work, and The Process, a behind-the-scenes look at how the collaboration came together. We also designed a custom website template inspired by Koons’s site, making it possible for anyone to create their own online gallery using the same design approach.
The campaign extended into the physical world through wild-postings and digital out-of-home placements, presenting Koons’s legacy through the lens of digital craft and contemporary storytelling.
